The heartbreak is continuing for Demi Moore.

On the heels of her announcement that she is splitting up from her cheating husband Ashton Kutcher, Demi suffered another setback when a long-term friend passed away, and RadarOnline.com has a photo of her weeping as she leaves the funeral.

Holding the arm of a male friend, Demi was crying and wiping away tears as she left her friend Pattsy Rugg’s funeral at the Christ the King Church in Cape Cod, Massachusetts on Saturday, December 3. Dressed in all black, Demi appeared gaunt and thin, a look that has become the norm for her since her split from her husband.

Pattsy, a substance abuse counselor, became friends with the actress and they were so close that Demi would introduce Pattsy to friends as her mother, according to the Daily Mail. Pattsy died on November 25 reportedly from complications arising from pneumonia.

Meanwhile, back in Los Angeles, Demi’s soon-to-be ex husband Ashton walked the red carpet at the New Year’s Eve movie premiere solo, but was photographed smiling and chatting with co-star Lea Michele.
